Just want to post a warning – if you are an APPLE TV house (we are) – I would be VERY leery of trying SLING. We have had so many DVR experiences with them that stop half-way into the show. They say it is an Apple TV problem but we have zero problems with anything else. I spent several hours (even under protest – resetting router and taking down our entire automated house to try to fix their issue) – their tech support is pretty dismal. PHILO is almost half the price for better channels (except sports – which are pretty much non-existent right now anyway) and they are very reasonable and responsive.

I still miss watching Smallville on UPN, but not long after the show ended the channel became part of the CW. I remember back in the 60’s and 70’s when the only TV was over-the-air and it was free, so all you needed was a TV, an outlet, and a good antenna.
